Prepping for Spanish Season

Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and update this blog.
I'm trying to make a real push toward the much coveted "Conversational" level of Spanish speaking. I'm getting ready to be more serious. I've considered switching my computers language to Spanish, watching spanish TV/Movies and Reading Spanish books and stories. I'm going to try and write a short story in Spanish (1k words).

I'm going to go back through my textbook and do every single page. Just like when I was little:
Every Page, every word, every sylable.

I hope to kick off December 1st, 2010 and hopefully I'll be blogging more regularly on my efforts.

Furthermore, my younger siblings have expressed various levels of interests in Spanish. My little sister is especially interested and I'm determined to help her as much as possible.
My brothers, ages 7, (practically) 5 and 2.5 are also some-what interested.

I'm going to begin working with my sister fulltime in December. I'm making a Spanish version of this neat little Calender activity for my household. I aim to have it finished by the end of Noviembre.

I have purchased a ton of Spanish materials and such and plan to begin assigning her some daily Spanish worksheet, it should only take a few minutes for her to do and hopefully we can do it in the morning together before I go to school.

I'm going to get back on the Pimsleur bandwagon, today or tomorrow. I really believe there is a good deal of good in those lessons. The series, in my opinion, doesn't do much, but it is very good at what it does. I'm just going to restart at Lesson 15, Level 1 and keep moving. I'm also going to continue my recordings of the book Easy Spanish Reader, though its been a few months since I've done it.

I'm going to restart that book with my sister. Well study the words at night and read the story and then each morning we will read the short story again, without reviewing the words and do the sentences and activities together.
