I've made a decision to start pecking away at Japanese which I'll be beginning in earnest in January, though I've dabbled in the most basic sort of Japanese since, uhm, this summer maybe? I really don't know anything in this language, I am not even sure how to say "Hello" (Konnichiwa? Moshi-moshi is for the phone right?)
I am a bit of an Anime Junkie and I prefer my anime un-dubbed so I've been listening to Japanese for some years now, and have picked out some real simple stuff (Mostly insults and other un-polite stuff) and have identified the different particles without any real comprehension as to what they do. After reading a brief grammar guide I know that "ka" is the question mark.
I hit the library up for some Pimsleur CD's--Japanese style! I'm going to try and work through 3 of these lessons a week and then, I dont know from there....I'll let you all know as I figure it out...
I was supposed to be learning hiragana but I might as well throw that in with the spoken language. I'll probably be tackling hiragana, followed by the Kanji in grade level order.
Tengo una amiga de mi clase de espanol quien es una japonesa y ella puedes "help" cuando estudio la idioma japones.
I have a friend (female) from my Spanish class who is Japanese and she can/will help when I study the Japanese language.
